**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Prior to pursuing RMT, education-wise, I was at SFU pursuing a degree in business and in legal studies. Career-wise, I have been working as a medical office assistant since 2020!
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
I want to be an RMT because my experiences in working with patients as an MOA were really fulfilling. I enjoyed knowing that I was a part of an environment/system that helped people feel better. Furthermore, I have personally benefitted greatly from receiving RMT treatments. When I realized I wanted to further my career in healthcare in a more involved capacity, massage therapy was where I turned to.
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
Outside of work and school, I really love tucking into a good book, being in the sun, working out, painting, cooking or eating my way through the town, and being with my friends and family.
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
My favourite thing about VCMT is my cohort, and the entire community and culture here at this school! My peers, mentors, and the instructors are all incredibly supportive. We all take the work seriously, but not ourselves. It is motivating, inspiring, and still super fun!
