Cam began his education journey at Wilfrid Laurier University where he completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2018. During his time at Laurier, Cam worked on campus as an assistant in the athletic therapy clinic as well as at a private physiotherapy clinic within the area. Cam furthered his education at the Université de Montréal where he completed a research based Master’s of Science degree in 2022 with his research focused on concussion rehabilitation in the elite athlete population. He continued this interest in injury rehabilitation by obtaining a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2024.
Cam has always had an interest in sports and everything active as he grew up camping, hiking, and playing a variety of sports, such as hockey, soccer, rugby. He is a fan of all sports teams in Toronto, but is also a fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Paris Saint Germain, Las Vegas Raiders, and Hamilton Ticats. You can often find Cam at the local rock-climbing gym, running around town to prepare for his next race, skating in a local hockey league, or playing volleyball when he is not in the clinic.
Cam’s care is rooted around a manual therapy, educational, and exercise-based approach with a client-centered perspective to ensure every client’s unique goals are obtained. He has worked with a wide range of client populations across Ontario within various facilities in Hamilton, Burlington, Waterloo, and Thunder Bay. Cam strives to continue growing his skillset and knowledge by staying involved in educational and research activities at McMaster University and constantly seeking out new courses to attend.
