Cara graduated with her Masters of Physiotherapy from The University of Canberra in Australia. Prior to pursuing her Masters, Cara attended Eastern Michigan University where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science while on a Division 1 soccer scholarship. Cara has a strong passion for sports and working with all types of athletes, especially after growing up playing competitive soccer, basketball and volleyball. This year, she was a therapist for the Hamilton United League 1 Women’s Soccer Team and plans to pursue her Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy to get more involved with elite level sports.
Cara integrates manual therapy techniques with exercise prescription and education in her treatment plans, in order to optimize movement and function to prevent future injuries. Cara’s goal is to continue her education in manual therapy and acupuncture as well as finish her Masters of Sports Nutrition.
Cara believes in living a healthy and active lifestyle. When she is not at the clinic, you can find her enjoying a HIIT workout, playing a competitive sport or out for a long run. She also enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
