Carissa Leung is a Physiotherapist at Kensington in Calgary.
Carissa’s path to physiotherapy grew from a genuine desire to help people and build meaningful connections through care. Her interest in movement and rehabilitation began in high school, where she was involved in sports medicine and quickly found herself drawn to the hands-on, people-focused nature of the field.
That early experience helped solidify what she continued to feel throughout physiotherapy school: that she thrives in an environment where she can support people through injury, recovery, and long-term movement health. Carissa values getting to know each client as an individual and takes a thoughtful, collaborative approach to care, helping people feel supported, understood, and confident as they work toward their goals.
