Carly obtained her 3000 hour diploma in Massage Therapy in 2007 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster. She grew up in Pitt Meadows and held a successful solo practice in Maple Ridge for 3 years before making the move to the Okanagan. In 2012 she took some time off to pursue her passion for travel and bounced around the globe for the better part of a year. When she returned to Kelowna she held a successful practice at 2 different locations between 2012 and 2018.
In 2018, Carly left her career to pursue her dream of starting a family. She returned briefly in 2021 before leaving again to complete her family. She now shares two beautiful girls with her wonderful fiance and is pursuing her goal of re-building her permanent career.
Carly is passionate about educating her clients and empowering them to take control of their own health and well-being. She has a firm touch and a relaxed, professional presence that allows her to work well with a variety of clients. Carly has experience working with (but not limited to) clients who are recovering from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries and dealing with chronic pain, and is particularly focused on a positive healing that addresses the root cause of the injury or illness. Carly utilizes many massage techniques such as: Postural Assessment, Sports Therapy/ Passive Stretching, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release ETC.
In the past Carly has volunteered through a number of outreaches to gain experience and knowledge in treating symptoms of spinal cord injuries, chronic conditions , sports injuries, postural dysfunction, many different CNS disorders and day-to-day aches and pains. Carly believes in individualizing safe and effective treatment plans for her clients and promotes a healthy lifestyle to assist the body's natural ability to heal itself.
