In an increasingly sedentary age, massage is much needed treatment for students and employers/employees who often spend their day sitting and working at a desk. Over time, this can really start to decrease the range of motion and will manifest in stiffness of the upper/lower back and neck. Relaxing those strained muscles and the application of techniques that stretch and strengthen these affected areas becomes paramount to continued success and performance in an office setting. Massage therapy is also well known for helping to alleviate fatigue in such chronic or acute situations.
Pain tolerance and comfort is my utmost priority and clients will be treated accordingly with the option of a gentle relaxation method or deep tissue massage to address problematic fibers hidden in the deeper layers of muscle.
