**Where are you from?**
Vancouver, Canada
**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Before pursuing RMT, I worked in immuno-oncology for 6 years in Boston, MA. I studied neuroscience in my undergrad career at Princeton and have actually had a paper published!
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
I want to be a an RMT because I have always wanted to help people the best I can. For a long time I thought I wanted to be a doctor but I didn’t love how little time they often got with their patients. RMT seems to be the perfect blend of my biomedical interests and love for 1:1 interactions!
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
My number one way to spend time outside of school is hanging out with my asthmatic cat, Pippin. I also love working out, playing video games, and am currently learning to make my own clothes!
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
My favourite thing about VCMT is definitely the community. I love the people— I feel like I am, for the first time, surrounded by people who think like me and have the same values! It’s really meaningful how close my class has gotten already and I feel like we all have a tremendous amount of impact on each other and on the cohort dynamic. It’s beautiful to see how everyone fits together and contributes to the energy!
