Catherine grew up in the Lower Mainland, where she spent her time playing classical violin and staying active through gymnastics, volleyball, and swimming. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria, where she discovered a passion for teaching and anatomy while volunteering as a teaching assistant in the first-year anatomy lab. She has gained valuable experience working with athletic, neurological, and older adult populations, and brings a well-rounded, adaptable approach to her care.
Catherine’s goal as a kinesiologist is to provide individuals with the knowledge and confidence to live healthy, active lifestyles while continuing to do the things they love. She has a special interest in neurological rehab, athletic performance and healthy aging. She believes in the power of exercise to support lifelong independence and function, and is excited to help clients achieve their goals, whether related to sport, healthy aging, returning to work, or daily activities. Catherine is committed to working with individuals of all abilities, encouraging an active role in their rehabilitation and creating meaningful change through creative, evidence-based care.
Outside the clinic, Catherine enjoys staying active through running, weight training, swimming, and playing volleyball. She also loves exploring local beaches and experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new recipes and flavours.
