Cathy graduated with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 1992. She has completed her level lll Manual Therapy courses as well as various other manual therapy and exercise prescription courses. She also has her Dry Needling and Vestibular Rehabilitation certification. She has recently added concussion management courses to her continuing education portfolio and is a certified Complete Concussion Management practitioner. Cathy uses these tools and her experience in clinical reasoning and problem solving to help her clients to reach their full potential. She enjoys treating all injuries with a special interest in running related injuries. She has experience treating worksafe BC clients as well as ICBC clients. When she is not working, Cathy enjoys running as well as hiking , biking and boating / water sports with her family.

Assessment designed to improve running economy, enhance performance, and reduce the risk of injury. These assessments are ideal for endurance runners; we also provide separate assessments tailored specifically for sprinters. Includes detailed history, an orthopaedic assessment of strength, stability and mobility to evaluate any movement imbalances, and treadmill running gait analysis. Based on all findings, your physiotherapist will provide a clear summary of your assessment, individualized training recommendations, targeted exercises to address imbalances or inefficiencies, and any relevant running cues to help improve your technique.
