Cayla Steinbach (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counselor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC#18949) and holds a Masters of Education in Counselling from the University of Northern British Columbia. In addition to being a Registered Clincial Counsellor, Cayla is a Registered Social Worker through the BC College of Social Work (12085).

With over 10 years of experience in various sectors of social services, I offer a compassionate and integrative approach rooted in person-centered and trauma-informed care. I prioritize safety and well-being by adapting my methods to meet the diverse needs of each individual.

As a counsellor, my therapeutic goals for clients is centered on heart work, which allows the nurturing of emotional and spiritual growth, alongside personal development and wellbeing. By creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment, I help clients explore their emotions, identify their strengths, and understand their inherent worth. This process encourages them to embrace their true selves, cultivating self-compassion, self- acceptance and resilience. Ultimately, my aim is to assist clients in achieving a deeper sense of authenticity, purpose, and fulfillment in their lives.

Through trauma-informed, person-centered modalities, my framework centres on collaborating with individuals to set meaningful goals and address unconscious biases to support an increase in confidence, self-esteem, and emotional regulation.

Embracing vulnerability within this framework allows individuals to access their inner resources and gain control of their lives by becoming empowered to overcome internal and external obstacles.

Additionally, individuals can expect an increase in self-compassion, self-empowerment, and trust in themselves, along with a rediscovery of their strength and worth, promoting a return to wholeness physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
