Chantel grew up in Calgary and completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology degree at the University of Calgary in 2009. Working first as a kinesiologist she learned how to develop a treatment protocol and rehabilitate patients after injury and/or surgery. She further developed her skills at the National Manual Osteopathic College, graduating with distinction as a Manual Osteopath in 2019. She is an active member in good standing with the National Manual Osteopathic Society. Driven by her desire to understand the complex nature of body pain her post graduate studies include Neuro-Kinetic Therapy, a neurological approach to body mechanics.
Manual Osteopathy is a useful hands on therapy for anyone experiencing acute or chronic body pain. She has experience working with a variety of athletes including hockey, volleyball, soccer, and rugby players. She works with infants/children, postpartum and pelvic floor dysfunction, as well as those with migraines/chronic headaches.
Her passion for Manual Osteopathy began with a desire to help people live their lives free of pain and has continued with the study of pain science and evidence based research to further her knowledge. Through osteo-articular corrections, visceral manipulations, craniosacral work, and fascial release she can help to create balance in your body and improve your structure and function.
During her off time you will find her on the snowboard hill with her husband and 2 children.

A review of your response to your prior CST appointment will be followed by an assessment and treatment. Any changes to your treatment plan will then be discussed.
Your first CranioSacral Therapy (CST) appointment will include an explanation of CST and answering any related questions, reviewing your health history, a thorough initial assessment and treatment, and providing a suggested treatment plan. You may need to rest for 5-10 minutes after treatment for your body to acclimatize to any changes, so please plan accordingly.
Reflexology is a therapeutic treatment that applies targeted pressure to specific points on the feet that correspond to organs, systems, and structures throughout the body. By stimulating these reflex points, reflexology helps to encourage nervous system regulation, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. This treatment is deeply relaxing while also being effective for reducing stress, easing tension, supporting digestion, improving sleep quality, and promoting overall balance within the body. Reflexology can be enjoyed on its own or incorporated into a treatment plan focused on whole-body wellness.

Reiki is a holistic healing practice that addresses the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. It is based on the belief that there is a universal life force energy that flows through all living beings, and when this energy becomes blocked or unbalanced, it can lead to physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances. By using gentle touch or non-touch techniques, Reiki practitioners seek to channel and balance this energy, allowing it to flow freely through the body and promoting overall well-being. Reiki is often used in conjunction with other holistic therapies, such as meditation, yoga, and acupuncture, to help individuals achieve a sense of balance and harmony in their lives. It is not intended to replace conventional medical treatment, but rather to complement it by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and supporting the body's natural healing processes.
