Chantelle Owen, Registered Provisional Psychologist
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with over 19 years of experience supporting children, adults, couples, and families across both public and private practice settings, including community agencies and corporate care. I work with adults, teens, couples, and LGBTQ+ individuals, and I am committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and affirming therapeutic space.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and a neurodiversity-affirming approach. I am guided by core values of safety, compassion, curiosity, and empowerment, believing that meaningful change occurs when clients feel secure, deeply understood, and supported in reconnecting with their strengths. I tailor therapy to each individual’s unique experiences, goals, and pace.
I use an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My sessions are collaborative and practical, blending skill development with deeper self-awareness and emotional insight.
Outside of my work, you will often find me spending time in nature—whether enjoying time at the lake with my family or skiing in the mountains. I value balance, connection, and the restorative power of the outdoors as essential components of well-being.
