Hi, my name is Chantelle and I am a registered physiotherapist. I completed by undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at University of Toronto then followed by a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in Australia. I worked in Australia and gained experience helping patients achieve their optimal health and performance as well as worked with various groups of individuals such as expecting or new mothers, high performance athletes, the weekend warrior, and those troubled with new or chronic musculoskeletal pains from everyday life. I gained a keen understanding of musculoskeletal injuries, and I am dedicated to helping you not only recover but also prevent these issues from recurring.
Whether you are recovering from a sports-related injury or managing everyday discomfort, I am committed to tailoring personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. My approach differs depending on the person but can consist of manual therapy, dry needling or acupuncture, education, and gradual exercises to get you back to your goals and movement.
Outside the clinic, you will probably find me in the gym with some weights (and maybe talking too much to others so my gym time is longer than expected) or taking long walks, doing some Reformer Pilates, and cheering on any sporting events like hockey, basketball, baseball, rugby, and AFL.

Gunn IMS is a system of assessing and treating neuropathic pain, developed by Dr. Chan Gunn and based on Western medical principles. Dr. Gunn was awarded the Order of Canada in 2002 for his pioneering work. Gunn IMS can only be performed by a practitioner who has been trained by Dr. Gunn or his associates to properly assess a patient for the signs and symptoms of neuropathic pain. One of the key characteristics of neuropathic pain is the presence of tight, ropey bands in affected muscles. These muscles are “dry needled” to produce three therapeutic effects: A stretch reflex and contraction to help the muscle ultimately relax. Localized microtrauma and inflammation to stimulate the healing process. A resetting effect on the nervous system. A complete Gunn IMS treatment goes beyond simply needling tight muscles. The practitioner must also address the muscles that can compress the nerve roots supplying the affected areas and assess the body globally to treat the underlying sources of neuropathic pain. Please note: At our clinic, Gunn IMS is provided as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. It is not available to schedule as a stand-alone appointment.
Our Golf Swing Analysis is a key component of the TPI Assessment. During this session, a certified golf pro evaluates your swing mechanics, setup, posture, and movement patterns to identify inefficiencies or compensations that may be affecting performance or contributing to pain. This analysis works alongside your physical screen to connect how your body moves with how you swing — allowing us to create a targeted plan that improves both performance and durability on the course.
**Strength and Conditioning** Strength and conditioning in physiotherapy involves the use of targeted, progressive exercise to improve strength, endurance, mobility, and overall physical function. Following a detailed assessment, a physiotherapist develops an individualized program designed to support injury recovery, enhance movement quality, and help patients safely return to daily activities, work, or sport. Exercises may include resistance training, stability work, mobility exercises, and functional movement training tailored to each patient’s goals and abilities.
