Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. Using light, precise movements, this treatment supports the lymphatic system in removing waste, reducing swelling, and promoting overall immune function. MLD is commonly used to address fluid retention, post-surgical swelling, lymphedema, and to encourage relaxation. The pressure is very light and follows specific pathways to enhance natural drainage, making it both therapeutic and deeply calming.
