AjouterMy name is Christie MacInnis and I am a registered social worker, with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. I have a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) from St. Thomas University, and a MSW (Master of Social Work) from the University of Regina. I have worked in the field of mental health and addictions since 2013 in Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Nunavut. I now live in the beautiful community of Inverness with my husband, daughter, and our dog.

I maintain a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to counselling. My work is guided by a holistic perspective of wellness, with a focus on connecting you to your strengths and inner wisdom.
I have obtained training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems. I am trained and have experience in Perinatal Mental Health and Mood Disorders. I am also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma.
I am so happy to be a member of the Inverness Chiropractic Clinic. It would be a privilege to support you on your healing journey.
