Dr. Angela Keung is passionate about helping patients restore balance, relieve pain, and improve their quality of life through Traditional Chinese Medicine. She believes every person is unique, and takes the time to understand the root cause of each patient's concerns, creating individualized treatment plans that support both immediate symptom relief and long-term wellness.
Angela earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chinese Medicine from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she specialized in acupuncture. Before relocating to Calgary, she practiced at the Haven of Hope – The Chinese University of Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Clinic Training and Research Centre, caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. In addition to clinical practice, she participated in community health education, helping improve public understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine through public seminars and outreach programs.
Her clinical interests include pain management, musculoskeletal injuries, post-stroke rehabilitation, digestive health, and internal conditions. Drawing from both classical Chinese medicine and modern clinical evidence, Angela strives to provide treatments that are thoughtful, effective, and tailored to each individual's goals. She believes the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine remains highly relevant today and enjoys integrating traditional diagnostic principles with contemporary practice.
Angela's treatments incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques, including acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, cupping therapy, tui na, moxibustion, and herbal consultation to help patients achieve lasting improvements in their health.
Alongside her clinical practice, Angela serves as an instructor and Clinical Teaching Assistant at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM), where she enjoys mentoring future practitioners in clinical reasoning, safe acupuncture techniques, and patient-centred care. Teaching continually inspires her own professional growth and reinforces her commitment to lifelong learning and clinical excellence.

This 2-part treatment starts with back acupuncture points to remove energy blocks to prepare the body for more profound healing. Followed by body and facial acupuncture points. Both parts are combined to enhance both internal balance and external appearance. This treatment does not include additional modalities such as gua sha, facial cupping or facial massage.

Studies show acupuncture up to 48 hours before and after these procedures increase odds of successful implantation.
