Claire Lewis, RMT YTT graduated from the Victoria West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2011. She spent the last 15 years practicing as an RMT in Whistler, Victoria and Squamish, BC where she has worked with athletes and tourists alike.
Her treatments aim to address the root of the presenting discomfort and bring your body back to a healthy and functional state. A successful treatment is simply guided by the therapist and the tissues will surrender to the unwinding our bodies require to regain balance. Claire takes specific interest in sports related injuries, post surgical rehabilitation and scar work, frozen shoulder, whiplash, and chronic pain due to stress or postural imbalances.
Claire completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 in India. She also holds a Teacher in Training certificate for Foundation Training. She completed Ironman Whistler in 2014 and BC Bike Race 2016.
In her spare time, she can be found exploring mountains by bike, skis, or foot with her daughter and the 3 hoursehold dogs along with her. She enjoys running, biking, yoga, surfing, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, cooking and gardening.
