Clara has always been fascinated by the intersection of science and spirituality, and where Eastern and Western modalities converge.
She brings that curiosity into her practice, using a combination of TCM organ and channel theory, and orthopedic motor and trigger point based practice.
Clara works with the body's natural rhythms and flow of Qi, along with treating the musculoskeletal, fascial and nervous systems, assisting the body in remembering how to heal itself.
Clara works with gentle yet effective acupuncture, e stim, bodywork, gua sha massage and cupping.
She brings a trauma and neurodivergence informed lens to her practice, has an intuitive sense of touch and is driven by a desire to help others get out of pain and back in alignment.
Clara Paradis graduated with honours from Pacific Rim College's Acupuncture program, is certified in the NADA Protocol addiction treatment, and Acusculpting Facial Rejuvenation.
In her spare time she loves yoga, art, and exploring this beautiful island.
She is grateful to be working with the team at Back to Back on the unceded territory of the Lekwungen speaking Peoples.

Please note that we are unable to direct bill to extended health for Medical Qigong appointments at this time. Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being.
