Clarissa's passion for nutrition started when she saw the difference it made with managing her own health conditions. Since studying dietetics at Mount Saint Vincent University, and completing her internship at The Hospital for Sick Children, Clarissa has been working in many settings in the Annapolis Valley including long term care, private practice, and Nova Scotia Health. Clarissa has an inclusive approach to nutrition, and believes that a person's relationship with food is as, if not more, important than the food itself.
Clarissa has a particular interest in gut health and digestive conditions, reproductive diseases such as endometriosis and PCOS, as well as fertility and pregnancy.

This workshop is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to take charge of your breast health at every stage of life. You will learn how to understand your breast anatomy and what's normal for your body, perform a breast self-exam and recognize changes worth discussing with a primary care provider, understand screening guidelines and what testing is recommended at different ages. This workshop is open to all ages and all bodies. No prior experience or medical knowledge needed!
