Coco obtained her Masters of Physiotherapy degree from Western University in 2016. Previously, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences and Fitness Assessment and Exercise Counselling stream at York University in 2014.
As a clinician, Coco aims to inspire all her clients to reach their fullest potential through education, exercise, and manual therapy. Coco strives to look for and treat the root cause of the injury as she believes that this is the key to making long-lasting improvements. Coco has worked with people from all ages and exercise levels, ranging from your everyday person to professional athletes. Previously, Coco worked in the Waterloo region and was ranked Gold in the Readers’ Choice Awards as one of the best physiotherapists in the Waterloo Region for 2019.
Coco is committed to professional development as she has taken courses in acupuncture/dry needling, Mulligan approach, concussion, and many others. She is also working towards the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
When Coco is not in the clinic, you can find her staying active by going to the gym, playing basketball, and going on long hikes. She also has a passion for traveling and is keen on seeing the world.

This is a follow up treatment after an initial assessment has been completed. The initial assessment can be completed at any Totum Life Science location with any provider. Dr. Irvine uses various soft tissue techniques including Active Release Therapy, for treatment along with Functional Range Conditioning, Active Strengthening and Rehab, Ultrasound, and Integrated Acupuncture. A treatment plan will most often include additional exercises or mobility training for the patients to practice on their own.

Pelvic Health Assessments include an in depth analysis of the pelvic floor, abdominal, low back and breathing mechanics. We address and manage pelvic pain, urogenital and urogynecologal disorders, preparation for labour, post partum recovery and return to exercise. This assessment includes an in-depth assessment of running shoes, functional running-specific strength and flexibility assessment, video-recorded running gait assessment on treadmill and specific intervention plan, exercise program and running program tailored to your needs.

This is a targeted movement assessment along with injury and relevant lifestyle history pertaining to an acute or chronic injury. Dr. Irvine is certified in FMS, CSCS, Functional Range Conditioning, Kin Stretch, TPI Golf Assessment along with her training of Masters in Kinesiology and Dr. of Chiropractic. All of these areas of knowledge are used in her advanced assessment techniques. This will be followed by a treatment to address challenges, discomfort, or muscular imbalances that were identified in the assessment. For student athletes between the ages of 12 and 24. All athlete night treatments and assessments are 20 minutes with the clinician. Clients are welcome to spend an additional 15 minutes on the gym floor following their treatment.
