Colleen Matthews joins us as an osteopathic manual practitioner and is a member of Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN) and the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO).
Colleen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies as well as a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. After graduating, she put her knowledge to work as a personal trainer, leading group exercise classes and later working with youth and individuals with disabilities at outdoor education facilities.
Colleen was interested in furthering her education and was intrigued by the science and philosophy of osteopathy, including the accessibility and effectiveness of treatment. Colleen earned her four-year degree as an osteopathic manual practitioner at The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario.
While not at work, Colleen enjoys paddling, painting, and always has a book on the go.

This complimentary session includes 15 minutes with Colleen to learn about your potential practitioner, the philosophy and practice of osteopathy, and how treatment may benefit you. This also provides time for any remaining questions you may have regarding osteopathic treatment.
