This free 15-minute consultation is an opportunity to meet with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and learn whether massage therapy is appropriate for your post-surgical recovery, including procedures such as knee or hip replacement, ACL reconstruction, or other orthopedic surgeries. This no-cost, no-obligation session is ideal for individuals experiencing acute or chronic post-surgical pain, stiffness, swelling, or limited mobility. During the consultation, no hands-on treatment is provided. Instead, your RMT will review your surgical history, current symptoms, and stage of recovery. They will explain how massage therapy may safely support healing, reduce muscle guarding, improve circulation, and complement your physiotherapy or rehabilitation program. Considerations such as surgical timelines, scar management readiness, and activity restrictions will be discussed. This consultation is especially helpful if you are unsure when to start massage therapy after surgery, want guidance alongside ongoing rehab, or need clarity before booking a full treatment. You will have time to ask questions and receive personalized recommendations regarding treatment approach, frequency, and next steps. If you choose to proceed, your RMT will outline a tailored treatment plan, with the option to book a full assessment and massage treatment at a future visit. There is no pressure, this visit is designed to provide clarity, safety, and confidence in your recovery journey.
