Driven by a strong interest in traditional Chinese medicine, she studied the Acupuncturist & Herbalist program at the Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine and became a registered acupuncture practitioner in 2022. Coco is skilled in various TCM modalities, including classical acupuncture, electroacupuncture, Fu's subcutaneous needling, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and acupoint pressure.
Coco believes acupuncture serves as a powerful tool to unlock the body's natural healing mechanisms. By developing personalized and effective healing therapies, she assists clients in managing various health concerns, such as pain relief, stress reduction, insomnia, and promoting overall wellness.

Prenatal acupuncture focuses on addressing common pregnancy related concerns such as nausea, low back/pelvic pain, anxiety and stress. This treatment is tailored to each patient's needs, and can be incorporated at any stage of the pregnancy to help manage discomfort and support overall health. This treatment type is also bookable for cervical ripening. This form of acupuncture is a gentle and effective treatment, designed to help prepare the body for labor. Cervical ripening involves targeted acupuncture points to help soften the cervix, encourage optimal fetal positioning, and support overall relaxation. **It is typically recommended from week 36 of pregnancy, but we always recommended getting the go ahead from your doctor(s) as well** Depending on your reasoning for treatment, please plan for this visit to be 60-75 minutes!
