**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Before starting at VCMT, I was heavily involved in the dance community as a competitive breakdancer, traveling internationally for competitions. I also worked as a dance teacher, helping students develop their skills while building confidence and body awareness.
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
My interest in becoming an RMT comes from my experience as an athlete and dancer. Massage therapy played a big role in my recovery and performance, and it inspired me to help others feel and move better. I’m especially interested in working with active individuals and supporting injury prevention and rehabilitation.
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
Outside of school, I still stay connected to dance—training, teaching, and being part of the community. I also enjoy staying active, exploring new movement practices, and spending time with friends and family.
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
My favorite thing about VCMT is the supportive learning environment and the strong emphasis on hands-on practice. It’s been a great place to build both confidence and clinical skills.
