Corrie is a compassionate, knowledgeable physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health. She’s the type of physio that clients still want to come and see even after they’re better. Her impact, experience, grit, and unshakeable positivity are part of what makes her treatment approach unique. She’ll make you laugh, make you feel safe, and won’t give up until you have found confidence and met your goals.
She is passionate about helping people navigate concerns such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and core dysfunction. Corrie meets every client where they are, taking the time to understand the whole person—not just their symptoms—to create a treatment plan that feels supportive, and achievable.
Her goal is to uncover the root cause of your concerns, guide your recovery at a pace that feels right for you, and empower you with the knowledge and confidence to return to the activities you love.
Corrie believes that pelvic health care should be evidence-based, individualized, and free of judgment. She strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable discussing concerns that are often difficult to talk about, knowing they will be heard with empathy and respect.
Corrie's passion for the human body began through her background as a dancer. Experiencing her own injuries sparked a fascination with movement, anatomy, and the body's remarkable ability to heal. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta before completing her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2016.
Since graduating, Corrie has dedicated much of her postgraduate education to pelvic health physiotherapy, completing extensive advanced training in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. She has also trained in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM), an advanced clinical reasoning approach that considers how the entire body contributes to movement and pelvic health. This whole-body perspective is particularly valuable for individuals who have tried isolated pelvic floor exercises without achieving lasting results.
In addition to one-on-one physiotherapy, Corrie offers Clinical Pilates as an effective and fun way to build core connection, improve overall strength, and develop confidence in movement. Whether you're recovering from an injury, navigating pregnancy or postpartum, managing pelvic floor concerns, or simply looking to move and feel better, Clinical Pilates is tailored to your individual goals and abilities. No previous pilates experience is necessary—every body and every level of experience is welcome.
Corrie and her husband, Thomas, are proud to be the new owners of Bodyworx Physiotherapy and Pilates. Together, they are excited to carry on the clinic's legacy of exceptional, compassionate care while thoughtfully shaping its next chapter.
