Courtney is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who works with individuals across a wide range of
experiences, identities, and stages of life. She aims to create a space that feels grounded, authentic, and
collaborative where clients can explore what’s been difficult, reconnect with what matters to them, and
move toward meaningful change at their own pace.
Her approach is integrative and rooted in a strong foundation of evidence-based and trauma-informed
care. She draws from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), person-centered therapy, somatic
approaches, narrative therapy, and incorporating mindfulness-based practices to support awareness,
emotional regulation, and self-compassion. Courtney is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization
and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she may use when it feels appropriate and aligned with each client’s
goals.
Courtney works with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity
exploration, and the impact of past or ongoing difficult experiences. While she supports people from
many walks of life, she has further experience working with young adults as well as individuals living
with persistent pain. At the same time, she avoids a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy is always tailored
to each person’s unique context, strengths, and values.
She views therapy as a process of building a different kind of relationship with thoughts, emotions, and
the body - one that allows for greater flexibility, resilience, and choice. Whether someone is feeling
stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for a space to better understand themselves, Courtney aims to
meet them with curiosity, care, and authenticity.
Courtney is registered with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
