Crystal Best is a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO), with over 20 years of clinical experience. Practicing since 2002, she is one of the most trusted and widely referred acupuncturists in the Sudbury District.
Trained in Beijing, China, Crystal combines traditional knowledge with ongoing advanced education to provide results-driven, individualized care. She is bilingual (English/French) and is known for going above and beyond in patient care, ensuring each patient feels supported, heard, and confident throughout their wellness journey.
Raised in the profession as the daughter of the founder of BE WELL Acupuncture (est. 1988), Crystal continues a strong legacy of patient-centered care rooted in trust, connection, and clinical excellence.

75-Minute Senior $85 | Regular $90 ( Patient Reactivation Rate) This session is for established patients who haven’t received TCM acupuncture at BE WELL in the past 6 months. Not for new patients. A clinical reassessment is included to safely update your treatment plan after a gap in care. Pre-scheduling follow-up appointments is strongly recommended to maintain consistency and continuity of care. Session Breakdown: Consultation & reassessment – 10–15 min Acupuncture treatment – 15 min Therapeutic rest – 20–28 min Needle removal & reassessment – 10–15 min Documentation & plan sign-off – 5 min Treatment may be unilateral or bilateral based on your individualized TCM plan. Modalities May Include: Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Auricular Therapy, Tuina Appointments follow a structured multi-room schedule to ensure safe, efficient, and professional care.

90 Minute - Acupuncture Follow-Up Appointment – $120 | Senior $115 An extended acupuncture session is ideal for patients who require additional consultation time, prefer a longer therapeutic rest period, or would benefit from written summaries and education. **Required for: - Fire Cupping - Gua Sha when clinically indicated. Session Includes: Consultation & clinical assessment Consented acupuncture treatment 28–45 minute therapeutic rest Reassessment & treatment plan review Treatment may be unilateral or bilateral, based on your individualized TCM diagnosis. Modalities may include: Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Auricular Therapy, Tuina (Extended time allows for Fire Cupping or Gua Sha when clinically indicated.) For best continuity of care, pre-booking 4–6 sessions is recommended.
New Patient Initial Consultation & Acupuncture – $150 Duration: 1–2 Hours Required for all new patients. Your visit includes: • Comprehensive health history review • Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) assessment (pulse, tongue, and diagnostic evaluation) • Personalized treatment plan • Full acupuncture treatment May Include: Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Auricular Therapy, and Tuina, based on your individual needs. All treatments are customized according to your presentation and professional Standards of Practice. Follow-Up Appointments (90 Minutes) – $115 For best results, patients are encouraged to schedule a series of 4–6 weekly treatments. Pre-booking helps maintain treatment consistency, provides priority access to preferred appointment times, and reduces delays due to waitlists. Your Registered Acupuncturist will recommend a treatment schedule based on your goals and clinical response.
