Crystal Higginson
AjouterCrystal completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. After graduating, she returned to her hometown of Almonte to join the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation team at Almonte General Hospital.
With 19 years of clinical experience, she has had the privilege of working with people of all ages and abilities, helping them improve movement, restore function, and support long-term health through individualized, patient-centered care. Crystal has pursued extensive post-graduate education, including training in the McKenzie Method, Mulligan Concept, SFMA, Non-Internal Pelvic Health, among others.

While maintaining a strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, she is particularly passionate about concussion and vestibular (dizziness) rehabilitation and has completed multiple advanced courses in both areas to better guide patients through their recovery.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys staying active and can often be found at the arena playing ringette, hockey, or ball hockey, out on the water dragon boating, or travelling and exploring new countries.
