Loves to work with: Urge incontinence, Postpartum strengthening, Prenatal education and pelvic floor prep
Crystal's excitement and interest for women’s health began during her physiotherapy schooling in Australia as she witnessed the many benefits of immediate postpartum education and treatment by physiotherapists in hospital after delivery. After the birth of her two boys, she had a more personal understanding of the need for pelvic floor rehab as she was experiencing her own treatable symptoms.
As a physiotherapist, Crystal is excited about how much we can do for women experiencing a wide array of pelvic floor symptoms not only pre and post partum but as we age. She is eager to spread the word and facilitate recovery so these symptoms are no longer considered normal for postpartum or aging women.
Crystal studied her Masters of Physical Therapy at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Crystal has spent over ten years working as a physiotherapist in both the hospital and private care settings. With a special interest in women’s health and having experienced returning to sport as a new mom, she fully understands the need and desire to get back to exercising or running after the kids without having our symptoms slow us down.
In her free time you’ll find Crystal camping with her family near a beach, chasing after her boys or sweating it out at the Crossfit gym.

If you would prefer a longer session, please discuss this with your physiotherapist before booking as this may affect your overall treatment plan and frequency. Please note that the last 5 minutes of all physio sessions are reserved for your physiotherapist to write your chart note and/or doctors notes and to send you your exercises. This prevents your physiotherapist from having hours of unpaid work at the end of each day. We appreciate your understanding.
