Dana represented Canada as a National Field Hockey athlete from 1991-1998, 2002-2004. She played in the 1994 World Cup and 1995 Pan Am Games.
She was introduced to pickleball by her Dad, Richard Anderson, in North Fort Myers, FL in 2017. She and her husband Robin D'Abreo, started playing in 2019 and were hooked. Dana played in her first Canadian Nationals in Red Deer, AB in 2021 and earned double gold. She won singles 4.0 skill level in the 10-49 y.o. age group and her and Robin won gold in Mixed Double 4.5 skill level in the 35-49 y.o. age group. She is a physiotherapist and expert in movement analysis so can help you improve your pickleball game and make your movements more efficient on the court. Dana has taught Steve Deakin Pickleball clinics at the beginner level and skill level 3.0/3.5 at the Picklebox. Roll your body better...to feel better, move better and play better! Dana will take you through a 1 hr. fascial release session using the The Roll Model Method and the Alpha ball and Yoga Tune Up Fitness balls to reduce muscle tightness and increase fascial release. Please bring your own yoga mat. The costs are $100 + taxes and have the Alpha ball and Yoga tune up balls included and are then yours to take home to apply all the techniques you learn. Cost is $55 + taxes if you already have the workshop pack. The session will use your awareness to bring relaxation to your muscles and mind. Let me show you what true relaxation can feel like!
Pickleball instruction for your group of 3 where you provide the local (Tri-cities area) court location/gym set-up. Price of $300 total ($100 per person) includes 2.0 hours of instruction, game play and analysis with Dana D'Abreo as your 4th player. Please note that you are responsible for securing the 3 participants for the lesson.
