Daniel is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with years of experience working in behavioural intervention, social services, and disability management. His studies include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and a Master’s Degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University. He deeply values rapport building as part of his work with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds, understanding that each person has a unique journey and desired destination.
Daniel brings valuable knowledge and insight from his academic, professional and lived experiences - whether it be in relation to managing stress, anxiety, depression; concerns specific to young men, youth and boys; the psychological effects of living with chronic pain; or many other mental health issues.
Blending aspects of Cognitive Behavioural, Solution-Focused, and Person Centred therapies (among others), Daniel tailors his counselling approach to meet the unique needs of each individual he works with, from children and youth to working professionals managing everyday life stressors.
When Daniel isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family, travelling, soccer, and trying out new recipes, all of which contribute to his passion for mental health and finding fulfillment in the face of life’s challenges.
