Treatment may include external TMJ massage, intra-oral buccal massage (with patient consent and gloves), myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage techniques, and therapeutic massage to the neck, shoulders, scalp, and upper body as clinically appropriate. This treatment is intended to help reduce muscular tension associated with: TMJ dysfunction and jaw tightness Headaches and facial tension Neck and shoulder pain Stress-related muscular discomfort Postural tension patterns The session also includes therapeutic body massage to support overall relaxation, circulation, and musculoskeletal function. This is a therapeutic RMT treatment and may be eligible for reimbursement under extended health benefits when covered by the patient’s insurance plan. (GST not included)
