Daniela Mitik-Anuseva is a registered TCMP acupuncturist and herbalist. She is an honors graduate from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto.
Prior to embarking on her Traditional Chinese Medicine journey, Daniela worked as a physiotherapist in her native country for more than 10 years. In Canada, she acquired extensive experience as a physiotherapy assistant for 15 years.
Daniela has integrated her experiences from her former career with her knowledge of Chinese Medicine practices of Acupuncture, Herbology, Tuina, Cupping, Guasha, Qi gong, Moxibustion. This integration enables Daniela to create an individual, comprehensive treatment plan for management of chronic and acute pain , anxiety, depression, digestive problems, insomnia, women’s health, pregnancy support and fertility issues.
Daniela also has a very strong passion for health and fitness and is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor. Her vast understanding of body mechanics allows her to structure joint mobilization and passive exercises for individual concerns.
The deep understanding of the indivisibility of mind and body and the passion for healing are at the core of Daniela’s compassionate and professional standard.

Facial acupuncture, also known as cosmetic acupuncture, is a specialized acupuncture technique focused on revitalizing skin, improving muscle tone, and enhancing aesthetics. It uses thin needles inserted into specific points to stimulate blood flow, boost collagen productions and relax facial muscles. This holistic approach can address various skin issues such as fine lines, sagging skin, acne, puffiness and dullness. Treatments focus on the face and the entire body to address underlying imbalances that can contribute to skin concerns. Along with its cosmetic benefits, facial acupuncture can also be used to treat temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, Bell’s palsy, sleep disturbances, stress, anxiety, depression, tinnitus and headaches. Facial acupuncture treatments are provided in conjunction with Celuma red or blue light therapy to maximize their effects and benefits.

Acupuncture for labour preparation begins from 36-37 weeks gestation and continues weekly to full term. Treatment helps prepare the body for birth and support maternal mental health. From full term, induction acupuncture points are added. Acupuncture is used to treat pregnancy induced symptoms as well as support posterior positioned babies to move to optimal position.
