Daniela Rubinger is a 1988 graduate of Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy. Following several years at Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Center, she began a private practice at Halifax’s Physioclinic Dalplex in 1991.
From 1991 to 2005, Daniela managed the clinic and was highly involved in the treatment of athletes on the professional and varsity levels. She has provided services to many sporting events and was the chief therapist for the 1998 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships and 2004’s Women’s World Hockey Championships.
Throughout her career, Daniela has taken on many post-secondary courses in acupuncture, manual therapy, sports therapy, taping, and muscular imbalances.
In 2005, she opened Citadel Physiotherapy. Daniela has worked closely with Dr. Mark Glazebrook developing a non-operable Achilles protocol and has been involved in research with his team. She has also studied the effects of exercise in patients with early signs of dementia alongside Dr. Ken Rockwood.
Daniela lives in Halifax with her husband and has two grown children. While not in the office, Daniela enjoys watching soccer with her husband, mountain biking, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
