Danielle found her love for learning the human body and learning its unique expression while studying Biological Sciences at University of Windsor. After volunteering at a physiotherapy clinic, she fell in love with the physiotherapy profession as it allowed her connection of serving people in their physical well-being as well as a curiosity for understanding our innate true nature of healing.
She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in the Masters of Physical Therapy program in 2010. She extends her learning through post-graduate studies in manual therapy, functional soft tissue techniques, exercise using a selective functional movement model, and acupuncture.
In the most recent eight years, she discovered her passion for pelvic health physiotherapy while learning from Julie Wiebe’s piston science, and was trained through Pelvic Health Solutions (PHS) as well as Lynn Schulte’s holistic care pregnancy and postpartum bodywork to assess diagnose and treat a variety of pelvic floor conditions. Since then, her practice has evolved towards an intuitive holistic mind body and somatic approach to helping regulating the nervous system in order to help people connect with their own body’s natural wisdom and healing potential. She works with women (and men) at all phases of life with any pelvic health issue including incontinence, prolapse, pregnancy & postpartum, and pelvic or persistent pain conditions.
Her role as a therapist is to cultivate a genuine therapeutic relationship with each person and a biopsychosocial and spiritual approach of treating the whole person head to toe as to get a full sense of the root cause of the issue and guiding her patient through their wellness journey.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with different hobbies like yoga, hiking, meditation, creating jewellery, and a slow, mindful way of living to infuse my life with love, meaning, and purpose.
