**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Before pursuing a career in massage therapy, I worked in the Food Science industry. I've always been drawn to the medical field, and after being treated by an RMT, I realized how impactful and essential this profession truly is.
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
Becoming a Registered Massage Therapist allows me to combine my passion for anatomy with my desire to help others in a meaningful and fulfilling way.
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
I love spending time outdoors when Vancouver gifts us with nice weather. I recently got into running, so I’ve been doing that quite a bit. I also enjoy golfing and chilling at home.
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
My favorite part of studying at VCMT is my cohort. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a supportive and united group, along with inspiring teachers who genuinely care about our success.
**Do you speak fluently any languages other than English?**
Yes, I speak Brazilian Portuguese fluently in addition to English.
