Dave found hypnotherapy enormously helpful while dealing with his own chronic pain from a broken back in 2017. Dave came to hypnotherapy through an interest in neuroscience and chronic pain. He is passionate about helping people get back control over their lives by addressing unconscious behaviours like Nervous System Regulation, Anxiety, Chronic Pain, Fears, Phobias and Trauma.
Dave has certifications in Coaching for Health (C4H) by Pain BC, The Science of Well-being/ Positive Psychology PennU and Hypnotherapy from MMHA and is a member of ICBCH, the International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Dave has been practicing since 2020 and has worked with all ages from kids to adults with various conditions such as needle phobias to chronic pain, anxiety to stop smoking and trauma.
Is Hypnotherapy effective?
Many well documented studies showing efficacy for many ailments have been compiled over many years of research. Google scholar is a great place to search these up if you are looking for evidence that this works.
Dave's other passions include playing guitar, gardening and spending time with his wife and school age children.
