David is a Registered Physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people overcome pain, restore movement, and return to the activities they enjoy. Having experienced his own injuries, he understands the physical and emotional challenges that come with recovery and takes a compassionate, patient-centred approach to care. David has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of vestibular disorders and concussion injuries, helping patients safely regain balance, confidence, and function through evidence-based rehabilitation.
###Qualifications & Experience
- Graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from Western University in 2016.
- Holds a background in Kinesiology from York University.
- Advanced training in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management.
- Additional training in Functional Intramuscular Stimulations and Acupuncture
- Experience treating a wide range of conditions, including:
- Orthopaedic injuries
- Sports-related injuries
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Neurological conditions, including stroke rehabilitation
- Believes in lifelong learning and continually pursues advanced education to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care.
- Focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships and empowering patients through education, movement, and individualized rehabilitation plans.
###Outside the Clinic
When he's not in the clinic, David enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He loves going for runs with his Chihuahua and is a big believer in the benefits of recovery through hot saunas and cold plunges. He also enjoys music, meditation, basketball, football, cycling, rock climbing, salsa and bachata dancing, weightlifting, reading, and travelling.
