Deanna grew up in the Fraser Valley where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from SFU. She worked with individuals with workplace/sports injuries as well as neurological conditions with a special interest in chronic disease management and utilizing hydrotherapy. Deanna went on to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy at UBC. She has since worked in Pelvic Health physiotherapy (Women's and Men's Health) orthopaedics, community care, and rural/remote care.
Deanna believes in empowering her clients and allowing them to be leaders in their own health and wellness journey. She is passionate about functional integration of exercise and manual therapy. Deanna has completed post graduate training in Pelvic Health and welcomes clients of any gender.
Outside of work, Deanna is spending time with her family outside - hiking, gardening, or learning new skills. She loves being a part of the community in Port Alberni and looks forward to serving it’s members for years to come.

A comprehensive assessment for performing artists (dancers, gymnasts, musicians) who have been injured or are having pain related to their performing art. The assessment and treatment will be tailored to the individual and their activity.
This assessment is recommended for dancers who are preparing to dance en pointe. The purpose is to help determine readiness for pointe and to identify any areas that could benefit from a specific preparation program prior to beginning pointe work.
