Debora is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Personal Trainer, and CrossFit Level 1 Certified Coach. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Western Ontario and her clinical internship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.
Debora has been living with Type 1 Diabetes since the age of 12, and was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease, so she has first-hand experience in these areas, in addition to expertise in management and prevention of nutrition related diseases, sport nutrition, exercise, metabolic disorders, and weight managment.
As a certified fitness and nutrition professional, an athlete and a busy mom of two boys, Deb understands the many challenges involved in balancing life, healthy living, and proper fueling. She practices what she preaches and sets out to motivate her clients to find healthy solutions - ones that are customized, easy, affordable, balanced, sustainable and evidence-based.
In addition, Debora offers body composition testing with InBody - a non-invasive test using advanced bio-impedance technology that provides quantiative information about your body composition, including lean mass and body fat percentage.

This is a quick, non invasive test using bio impedance technology to assess body composition. Body composition analysis provides additional information about lean mass and body fat percentage which provide further insight into your health, functional muscle, and energy needs. You receive a report and additional suggestions about goal setting. This test is best paired with the initial assessment.
In this thorough session we review your medical history, lifestyle, food preferences and goals. We will also be discussing relevant information about your nutrition history, weight history, health, and symptoms, physical activity/training, and current intake.
If you and your partner share similar goals and food preferences, a joint session may be a great option. Time is spent with each individual and then we review joint goals and menu planning strategies as a team. A couples session is a 2 hour visit but is a time and cost saving option compared to two separate assessments.
