Diego is a physiotherapist and on-field therapist dedicated to working with motivated athletes of all ages and levels. His experience expands from recreational to professional athletes (soccer, lacrosse, hockey, tennis, basketball), including at The On-Field Clinic and Vancouver Whitecaps.
His clinical approach is centered around a combination of exercise-oriented techniques with manual therapy. This includes a focus on sport specific rehabilitation, core stability, and recurrent injuries; facilitating recovery and performance.
Diego holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University (MScPT), and a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Sciences from the University of British Columbia (BKinH). With further certifications in manual therapy, dry needling (IMS) and functional breathwork, while pursuing advanced certifications in Sport Physiotherapy (Diploma).

This 60 minute initial assessment allows time for your therapist to obtain a detailed history and perform a comprehensive physical examination to determine your injury diagnosis and rehab plan. This plan will include: activity restriction, initiating rehab exercises, and education on specific injury management. Manual treatment and education on self mobilizations will also be included in this session.
Please book this if you would like some extra time with your physio or if you are dealing with multiple injuries at the same time.
This is a follow-up appointment. If this is a NEW injury or it’s been > 3 months since your last visit, please book an INITIAL ASSESSMENT to allow your therapist sufficient time for thorough evaluation.
