Hello everyone, my name is Dr. Aaron Van Gaver, a naturopathic doctor and addiction counsellor who recently moved to Kincardine from Toronto. I have over 21 years of experience, spending the first 17 years of my clinical practice in Vancouver BC.
I have a strong focus on education and community health, and my practice delivers a full range of personalized care to patients. In addition to individualized patient care I also deliver in-house health programs and workshops to corporate staff and "well-ness" initiatives. I care about my patients, and I am here to coach you to maximum wellness and a healthy lifestyle that includes optimum balancing of hormonal health for both women and men.
Naturopathic Medicine is best used when we are feeling healthy. Not all of my patients are dealing with chronic complaints, the majority actually come to see me on a yearly basis, in order to STAY healthy. Some individuals will come in annually for a health check up – get routine blood work, and a physical exam if needed, while others have specific health complaints that they would like addressed. My practice is unique in that I work closely with a good friend of mine who is a nurse practitioner. Nurse practitioner Michelle Martin RN and I have a special focus in helping men and women optimize hormonal health using hormones, supplements, herbs and lifestyle changes. My areas of focus are:
