Dr. Allison first completed her undergraduate education at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. She received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then continued on to New York Chiropractic College (now called the Northeast College of Health Sciences) in upstate New York. Dr. Allison is able to help patients of all ages and especially loves working with children and senior citizens. Dr. Allison is certified in Cupping Therapy and Kinesio Taping. She strives to find the best treatment for each individual patient that she sees.

If you are a current or previous patient and are experiencing new symptoms (a new injury, motor vehicle accident, etc) we will need enough time to perform a new assessment prior to treatment.

During this appointment, we will combine your chiropractic treatment with cupping therapy (provided by Dr. Bernardi and Dr. Bonar) or acupuncture (provided by Dr. Bonar) to help alleviate muscular discomfort.
This appointment starts with scanning your foot on our Foot Leveler's 3D Kiosk. We will then discuss which custom orthotics would be the best option for you. This appointment may include an adjustment of the feet and hips as necessary. We can place the order for your orthotics at any point after this consult.
At this appointment, I will perform an assessment of your physical condition in order to arrive at a carefully considered diagnosis and recommended course of treatment.
YOU MUST BOOK A CONSULT WITH A CHIROPRACTOR BEFORE BOOKING THIS TREATMENT! During your first Laser Therapy Treatment, you will go over the risks/benefits of therapy with our Laser Technician.
At this appointment, Dr. Bonar will discuss the Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Bootcamp Protocol, you will purchase your Bootcamp Workbook and begin treatments!
Each visit has two main components: the active exercise and the passive therapy. You will have one-on-one coaching and gradual weekly progression through the exercise workbook, including demonstration and performance of exercise. Your pain will be treated with manual therapy specific to your stenosis including massage, adjustment/mobilizations and stretches. Patients must purchase the workbook ($25) and commit to weekly appointments for 6 weeks.
