Dr. Amanda Graham was born and raised in Dartmouth, where she completed a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University. She moved to Toronto to attend chiropractic college.
Upon graduation, she started her practice with a focus on caring for pregnant
women and children. While practicing in Toronto for 18 years, she completed the Diplomat program from the
International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Her additional training
includes pre and postnatal care for mothers, neuromotor development,
pediatric nutrition, specific pediatric chiropractic techniques including
craniosacral and sacro-occipital techniques, and neurosensory integration.
Also certified in the Webster Technique and Spinning Babies, she has often been
present during labour and delivery in the hospital or at home, supporting
moms for a great birthing experience. Having completed training in
Functional Neurology, she is excited to share the benefits of brain based rehab
with her patients.
As a Family Chiropractor, Dr. Amanda is blessed with the opportunity to help
families in the community express optimal health. One of her greatest joys and
honours is checking newborns to ensure that they have the healthiest start to
life. Dr. Amanda’s son was born at home under the guidance of wonderful
midwives. He received his first Chiropractic adjustment within the first few
minutes of life. Dr. Amanda is extremely passionate about making an impact
on the families in the Chester community that she has the privilege of
serving.

Initial neurological assessment. This time is reserved for the Chiropractor to perform a complete history and neurological exam. This will ensure that the Chiropractor has a thorough understanding of how your body is performing and what is needed to allow you to function better.
Adjustment in the 4th trimester. Supporting the healing and recovery post birth.
Prenatal adjustment with the Webster Technique and Spinning Babies exercises.
