Dr. Ahsan is Co-owner and Clinic Director of North GTA Health Centre. He is a licensed Chiropractor, acupuncture provider and certified CCMI concussion practitioner in the province of Ontario.
He holds an honors baccalaureate degree in Life Science from McMaster University and earned his degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Ahsan has pursued continuing education courses including a certificate in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, and a Certified Complete Concussion Management™ practitioner through the Complete Concussion Management™ network. Dr. Ahsan grew up in Newmarket, Ontario and was introduced to chiropractic and manual medicine through athletics during his high-school and university career.
His model of care is to provide individualized treatment for each patient, helping them to reach both their health, and functional-mobility related goals.

If you have never seen a Chiropractor here at North GTA Health then you must start with an Initial Assessment. Or if it has been a year or longer since you have seen Dr. Terah Wong or Dr. Amir Ahsan, please call the office to book your appointment. .

Baseline concussion testing is a very important step that should be completed prior to engaging in any high-risk sport. This testing consists of various tests of function (i.e. balance, reaction time, vision, memory, concentration, etc.) that could become impaired following a concussion injury. The results of your baseline test are utilized should you become injured in order to aid in proper diagnosis as well as to determine when you have fully recovered from your concussion and are now safe to return to your sport. The Buffalo Concussion Treadmill Test (BCTT) is a validated physical exertion test to measure the amount of aerobic exercise that is safe to perform, even in the acute phase after concussion .
Gapski-Goodman Test or Blackhawks test was developed by the NHL Chicago Blackhawks medical staff. The test combines alternating aerobic and anaerobic states, and sport-specific vestibular and visual challenges designed to mimic a dynamic sporting environment. The GGT has been used as a final RTP test at the professional sport level for more than 5 years.
