I have a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical industry in the research and development of novel pharmaceuticals. My true calling was in the art of medicine, integrating lifestyle, nutrition, lived experience, and evidence-based strategies to create tailored plans that make sense and work.
When not in the clinic, my hobbies include traveling, reading new books, and often you can find me outdoors; camping or hiking.

If you were referred to our clinic and do not already have a prescription for iron from your medical doctor, a consultation is required prior to treatment. Please bring in your most recent lab work as Dr. Sanja will do a thorough consultation to determine which IV will be most appropriate based on your health history. NAD+ is a coenzyme that exists in every cell in your body. It is what your cells use to make energy and to repair their own DNA, and levels fall steadily as we get older. Delivering it as an intramuscular injection bypasses digestion, so it absorbs steadily from the muscle into circulation where your cells can use it. Egg quality is one of the places this matters most. Eggs are among the most energy-demanding cells in the body, and the mitochondria inside them depend on NAD+ to do their work. As NAD+ declines with age, so does the cellular energy those eggs have available to them. Research in this area is still early, but the interest in NAD+ for reproductive aging comes from exactly this link between cellular energy and the quality of the eggs it supports. The same mechanisms sit underneath the longevity conversation. NAD+ is involved in DNA repair, mitochondrial function, and the sirtuin pathways associated with how well we age. People come to us for this while preparing for conception or an IVF cycle, while thinking about egg quality in their thirties and forties, and simply as part of how they want to approach aging over the long term. Because it is an injection rather than an infusion, the appointment is short and easy to add onto acupuncture or another treatment you are already booked in for, and it is usually done as a series rather than a one off. The injection itself can sting or ache for a minute or two, and the area can feel a little tender afterwards, which settles quickly. Your practitioner will talk you through what to expect. This treatment requires an initial consultation with one of our naturopathic doctors before booking, so we can review your health history and make sure it is the right fit. The cost will depend on the dosage decided on by your naturopath. Price starts at $70 and goes up to $100.
