Benefits of Shockwave Therapy The healing process is accelerated by activating the body’s self-healing powers. The shockwaves stimulate new blood vessel formation or “neovascularization” to the damaged area leading to blood circulation and metabolism where damaged tissue gradually regenerates and will eventually heal. Conditions That Can Be Treated with Shockwave Therapy -Foot pain (plantar fasciitis) -Hamstrings -Trigger point therapy -Scar tissue -Achilles tendinopathy -Jumper’s knee -Stress fractures -Bursitis -Non-healing ulcers -Morton’s neuroma -Shoulder pain (calcific rotator cuff tendonitis) Stiff big toe (hallux rigidus)
