Dr. Brennaugh (she/her) supports individuals and families with a wide range of health goals.
She leads her practice with empathy and inclusivity in order to create a safe and welcoming
environment for all patients seeking Naturopathic care. Her primary areas of focus include
hormonal health, fertility, pregnancy, LGBTQ2SIA+ health, and pediatric care.
She completed her undergraduate Honours Bachelor of Science degree at Laurentian
University and her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at CCNM. During her time at CCNM, her
passions were further explored and solidified through working with clients on both the fertility and pediatric focus shifts, and by completing her Naturopathic Doula certification. She has experience supporting clients with a variety of conditions including menstraul concerns (such as PCOS, PMS/PMDD, and painful periods), infertility, skin concerns, insulin resistance, headaches and migraines, menopause, and pediatric concerns (such as constipation, eczema,frequent colds and flus).
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brennaugh can be found frequenting hiking trails with her partner and their four-legged companion Harper the German Shepherd, kayaking, crocheting, or spending time with her family during one of their many action-packed game nights. Dr. Brennaugh loves to travel to better her understanding of different cultures and the world around her. However, there's no place like home - so her most frequent destination will always be the East Coast of Canada to spend time with her family in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Dr. Brennaugh understands that you require a treatment plan that aligns with your lifestyle and unique health goals. This is why she begins by helping clients decode and make sense of their symptoms, conducting any necessary testing, and working together to create an action plan that feels right for them. As a client of Dr. Brennaugh’s, you can expect a safe and judgement-free space where you are encouraged to share your story and ask questions. Education is at the heart of her approach - she strives to ensure clients leave their visits with not only a treatment plan but also the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions about their health and create long-lasting changes.
