Dr. Brittney Chisholm is proud to return to the town she grew up in to give back to the community that raised her. By providing patient-centered service, advocacy, concussion diagnosis & rehabilitation, and chronic pain education, Dr. Chisholm pours her heart into service of her beloved town.
Dr. Chisholm practices evidence-informed, conservative chiropractic care - that means research and clinical experience guide her treatment plans which are customized for the individual following a thorough history and physical exam. She uses a variety of techniques in her treatment plans: manual muscle release, trigger point therapy, spinal manipulation (Diversified technique, Thompson drop-piece technique, and the light-touch Activator technique) exercise & rehabilitation, graded mobilizations, fascial manipulation, Rolfing techniques, biomechanical corrections, postural and nutritional advice, and education.
Brittney treats an array of musculoskeletal and nerve-related conditions but has a particular interest in treating complex pain and chronic pain. Through a 3 hour assessment that captures how pain shows up biologically, psychologically, and socially, she helps identify treatment options available to you, teaches you the neuroscience of pain, and helps you understand important concepts such as pacing and mini-goal setting, and how to challenge your negative beliefs of self.
Dr. Chisholm uses a lot of deep fascial release techniques which are unique to her practice. A combination of functional range release, massage, Rolfing, and trigger point therapy, to help fascia reorganize at various depths and in various planes that can contribute to chronic pain and biomechanical restrictions.

A comprehensive assessment and management plan for those suffering with complex/chronic pain/chronic fatigue syndromes. Assessment delves in to every aspect of factors that effect pain from activity level, stressors, nutrition, sleep, mental health, support network, etc. This 3 hour session includes assessment, realistic and attainable goal setting, consultation with other health care providers, and an action plan that covers goals set in each category of pain drivers. A treatment plan may be presented at assessment or upon follow-up depending on necessity for further testing/information or consults.

This 25 minute follow-up appointment provides time for thorough treatment of both the muscles and the joints, and if required stretching and exercises too. The goal is to relax your tissues, relax your mind, and improve your overall mobility and pain.

In this session, I’ll assess how you walk on the treadmill, assess your joints and muscles, and do a few functional tests. This helps identify dysfunctions and areas that need strengthening or mobility work, so we can improve your movement and reduce strain.
