ISAK Level 1 is a series of 21 measurements that are used to interpret a series of body composition variables, such as body fat percentage, muscle mass and bone mass. This is done measuring basic dimensions such as height and weight, skin folds at 7 sites, perimeters and bodily diameters. This is an extremely accurate method of body composition that is used for athletes that strength coaches use to modify muscle mass.
